Description
Diam. c. 21.8m. A roughly oval raised area is all that survives of 'Lisbuck Fort'. It was situated on a prominent rise in cultivated land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Compiled by: Brian Lacey with Eamon Cody, Claire Cotter, Judy Cuppage, Noel Dunne, Vincent Hurley, Celie O'Rahilly, Paul Walsh and Seán Ó Nualláin (Lifford: Donegal County Council, 1983). Description
A subrectangular promontory 18.5m E-W is enclosed by an earthen bank containing some stone and cut off from the mainland by a steep drop. It is approached from the SE by an artificially constructed causeway c. 2m wide dropping 2m on the SW side and 4m on the SE side. It is located on a small promontory on the E shore of Lough Swilly. Description
Detached five-bay two-storey house dated 1720, with advanced two-storey over basement bays to both ends on an H-plan and with a raised bay to centre of east elevation, now in use as a guest house; two-bay two-storey ostler’s house adjoining to south. Hipped artificial slate roof with smooth rendered paired central chimneystacks to ridge and chimneystack to north gable, stone eaves course and replacement rainwater goods, with some cast-iron downpipes. Roughcast rendered walls with smooth rendered plinth course and coat-of arms and date stone over door to west façade. Square-headed window openings with nine-over-six and six-over-three timber sash windows and stone sills. Central square-headed door opening with timber panelled door and glazed overlight addressed by stone steps; flagstones to front elevation. Set within own grounds with garden bounded by hedge to front, courtyard to rear, ostler’s house and detached outbuilding behind hedge, with rubble stone walls, pitched slate roof and red brick chimneystack; pitched corrugated asbestos sheet roof to outbuilding.

Description
Detached three-bay Church of Ireland church, built 1779, with two-stage tower to west. Roof gone; stone eaves course and red brick chimney flue in east wall. Roughcast rendered walls with stone and brick apparent underneath, stone stringcourses and sandstone plinth course over rendered rubble stone plinth. Lancet windows with red brick embrasures and ashlar chamfered block-and-start surrounds. Pointed arch-headed door opening over stone steps to south of tower with sandstone block-and-start surround. Ashlar stone oculus to tower with inscription 1666 and 1884. Battlemented tower with cut stone coping. Set within own grounds with gravemarkers to south and west and enclosed by low rubble stone wall with double leaf wrought-iron gates mounted on ashlar stone piers.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1840, with two-storey gabled breakfront and single-storey return to rear. Pitched slate roof with clayware ridge tiles, smooth rendered chimneystacks with coping and polygonal pots to gable ends, smooth rendered eaves course and the remnants of cast-iron rainwater goods. Smooth rendered ruled-and-lined walls and smooth rendered plinth course. Pointed-arch headed windows with cast-iron quarries to breakfront with stone sills; square-headed window openings with tripartite sashes, now boarded, to ground floor with stone sills and circular oculus windows to first floor with smooth rendered surrounds and cast-iron quarries. Square-headed door opening with matchboard timber door. Roughcast rendered walls to rear with double leaf cast-iron gates mounted on substantial piers with pyramidal coping of water rolled cobbles and angular stone finial.

Description
Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c. 1815, with mid-nineteenth century alterations, built on L-plan with projecting entrance porch to front and modern conservatory to south and single-storey kitchen extension to north, now in use as convent and reconciliation centre. Hipped slate roof with clayware ridge tiles, smooth rendered ruled-and-lined paired central chimneystacks with cornice coping and polygonal pots, projecting ashlar eaves course and replacement rainwater goods. Smooth rendered ruled-and-lined walls. Square-headed window openings with uPVC sash windows with timber shutters behind and stone sills. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door to porch; flagstone paving to front and side elevations. Set within own grounds with outbuildings to rear, rubble stone wall to road with modern gates and stone piers.

Description
Freestanding multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding complex on a U-plan associated with Loreto House (see 40901810), built c. 1880, with advanced central block with carriage arch. Hipped slate roofs with stone eaves course and smooth rendered chimneystacks. Rubble stone walls with cut stone quoins, partially roughcast rendered. Square-headed window openings with red brick block-and-start surrounds and stone sills. Three-centred arch-headed and square-headed door openings with red brick block-and-start surrounds with double and single leaf matchboard timber doors. Connected to house by a high rubble stone garden wall.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1870, with gable-fronted porch to centre of front elevation, single-storey lean-to shed to north-west gable and high wall and lean-to sheds to rear. Pitched slate roof with clayware ridge tiles, smooth rendered chimneystacks to gables with smooth rendered stepped coping and terracotta pots and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls; smooth rendered walls to lean-to. Square-headed window openings with six-over-three and six-over-six pane horned timber sliding sash windows and painted sills. Square-headed door openings to both north-west and south-east sides of front porch, with battened timber doors. Set within own grounds, fronting onto road with garden to rear.
