  Description

  There is little trace of the single-ringed circular 'Fort' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. An indication in the growth would suggest a diameter of 20-25m. It was situated in gently rolling good pasture on a slight rise. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
