St. Catherine's Well in the parish of Rathcoole, is located along a field ditch which has been widened and deepened, removing all apparent trace of well. Originally accessed from steps. Detached five-bay single-storey farmhouse, c.1820. Timber casement windows. Timber tongue and groove door. Smooth rendered walls. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimney stacks. Cast-iron gate to road. Multiple outbuildings of painted stone rubble construction and corrugated-iron roofs to north-east and south-east.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, c.1890. Roughcast rendered walls with smooth rendered base course and projecting string course. Advanced eastern bay to north elevation. Single- and two-storey canted bay windows to façade. uPVC casement windows with stone sills and replacement timber door with fanlight and flanking windows. Double gabled slate roof, hipped to south, with smooth rendered chimney stacks, carved bargeboards and pendants crowned with a timber finial. Two-storey extension and conservatory to south elevation.
