Landscaping Features including a Boules Court, four insect bars (timber kickabout posts) two pollinator flower beds, bulb planting and tree planting, including a fruit orchard. these features were carried out with the knowledge, involvement and agreement of South Dublin County Council in partnership with the local Resident's Association and local residents. In particular SDCC required that written agreement be secured from houses 25-34 Pearse Brothers Park before works proceeded. These letters were collected and submitted to SDCC in advance of installation. The works formed part of a co-mapped, co-designed community amenity enhancement project led by Ballyboden Tidy Towns and SDCC's Public Realm section a letter of permission/support was requested by SDCC of the local residents association as there was a historical agreement that no development works would take place on the subject site. The planning status of their original installation is the subject of a section 5 which is not yet determined. This application concerns solely the removal of the amenities and whether such action constitutes development requiring planning permission.

- DU022-029 Flat cemetery
Description
This flat cemetery was discovered during landscaping work for a golf course in 1950. It is on an esker ridge, situated on the N-facing slopes of the Dublin Mountains. Some eighteen burials were uncovered in 1950-51 comprising four cist burials containing cremations accompanied by bowl food vessels; the remaining burials lay S and SE of the cists and were associated with cinerary urns(Waddell 1990, 81-2). Description
Detached three-bay two-storey over basement house, built 1792, with attached lower two-storey wing forming L-plan. Flemish bond brick walls to north and to east ground floor. Slate hung walls elsewhere. Lower wing is brick to north, smooth rendered to sides and rere. Timber sash windows. Timber panelled door with pilaster surround and plain fanlight, and flanking lunette windows. Approached by flight of steps with cast-iron railings. Hipped slate roof behind parapets, with two chimney stacks. Lower two-storey wing possibly earlier.

Description
Large complex of buildings beside river, comprising several multiple-bay three-storey former mills, c.1855, now in use as engineering and chemical factory units. Roughcast rendered walls. Some original multiple pane casement windows to upper floor, various replacement windows elsewhere. Timber tongue and groove double doors. Hipped and pitched slate roofs. Retains some interior features. Later factory buildings to road.
