Description
On the crown of a glacial ridge, incorporated into a modern field bank. Aligned NNE-SSW and c. 1.2m apart. Both stones are of granite. The N stone is subrectangular in plan (H 1.6m); S stone is now prostrate (1.4m by 0.65m). Description
In a low-lying bog on S side of a glacial ridge. Visible in the cutaway are traces of a curving wall (L 16m) covered by a maximum of 1.2m of peat. It is built of granite and schist boulders on the mineral soil but it appears to extend on to the peat at SW end. Traces of a pre-bog earthen bank noted nearby.
