  Description

  On a W-facing slope of a rise in grassland. Circular rath (diam. 33m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The enclosing elements are much disturbed from NE through E to SE. There is a stone-lined causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2.4m) at E. A field wall cuts through the monument at SE and SW.   Description

  On a N-facing slope in level pastureland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 32m) defined by an earthen bank from NE through E to SW and an external fosse from E to SSE. A field wall cuts through the monument at SW and NW and no visible surface trace survives of the enclosing elements to W of it. • GA097-003 Enclosure
  Description

  In level grassland. This roughly subrectangular enclosure (c. 40m NW-SE; c. 31m NE-SW), overgrown with hawthorn bushes along the E and W sides, is defined by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.1m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.3m) with traces of a shallow internal fosse (Wth 1m) from SE to S. Gaps in the bank at SW, NW and NE appear to be modern. Large limestone boulders along the inner faces of the E and S sides may be the remains of wall-facing. Within the interior at NW are traces of a possible house site (GA097-003001-).   Description

  In gently rolling grassland. On inspection in August 1984 this very poorly preserved roughly subcircular rath (diam. 32m) was defined by a levelled earthen bank (Wth 6m).   Description

  In undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (30m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with evidence of internal stone-facing at NE. No visible surface trace of the survives at NW. Numerous gaps in the bank appear to be modern. There is a souterrain (GA097-005001-) in the N sector of the interior.   Description

  Within N sector of a rath (GA097-005----). This souterrain is indicated by one exposed roof lintel and a slight depression (L c. 3m) running to the E of it. It appears to be aligned NW-SE.   Description

  On a prominent hill in undulating grassland. Circular rath (diam. 33m), in fair condition, defined by a bank. Within the centre of the interior is circular depression (diam. 3m) enclosed by a grassed-over stone wall; probably a hut site (GA097-007002-). Adjacent to this structure are two earthen banks (L 8m) running E-W; possibly internal divisions. The enclosing element overlies a souterrain (GA097-007001-) at S and within N sector of the interior, a linear hollow (L c. 8m), aligned NE-SW, may be the remains of another possible souterrain (GA097-007003-). • GA097-007001 Souterrain
  Description

  Situated beneath the S sector of the enclosing bank of a rath (GA097-007----). This drystone-built souterrain (L >7.3m) runs N-S and extends away to the S from the external face of the bank. Only the N end of the chamber (L 2.8m; Wth 1.8m) survives intact. The S end (L 4.5m) has collapsed and its line is indicated by a stone-filled depression.   Description

  Within the centre of the interior of a rath (GA097-007----) is a circular depression (diam. 3m) enclosed by a grassed-over stone wall; it is probably the remains of a hut site.
