  Description

  In an area of poor-quality rock and scrubland at W foot of Cashel Hill, overlooking Cloonisle Bay to SW. An extensive series of dilapidated field walls laid out on a roughly NE-SW axis and covering an area c. 275m by 210m. Delimited at NW and SE ends by two enclosures (GA057-007001-, GA057-007003-). • GA051-007001 Enclosure
  Description

  On W-facing slope overlooking the inner reaches of Cloonisle Bay. Known locally as Garra Mhary, this is a poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (E-W 27.5m, N-S 23.9m) defined by a drystone wall. In the interior is a rectangular drystone structure (L 4.6m, Wth 4.5m), possibly the remains of a house. The monument is cut by a stream which runs through the enclosing element at SSW and NE. There is a second enclosure (GA051-007003-) 250m to NW and between them is a field system (GA051-007----).   At NW limits of a field system (GA051-007----). Poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (E-W 23.2m, N-S 20.8m) defined by a line of single boulders.   Description
