  In gently rolling pastureland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an unenclosed circular mixed tree plantation. On the 1920 edition it is depicted as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) clear of trees. No visible surface trace survives.   Description

  In undulating pastureland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) within a mixed tree plantation named 'Long Nursery'. The monument has been leveled and apart from a slight hollow in the field, which indicates it location, no visible surface trace survives.   Description

  In low-lying woodland. Subcircular rath (58m E-W; 41.5m N-S), in fair condition, defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. The fosse is visible from NW to NE and from E to SW. The outer bank survives from NNW to NE. A causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3m) at N may be original. The interior is planted with trees.   Description

  Polygonal-plan walled garden, built c.1800. Rubble limestone walls with curved corners having red brick skin in facer bond and Flemish garden wall bond to inner elevations. Square-headed pedestrian entrance and segmental-arched vehicular entrance to north wall, both with dressed limestone voussoirs. Modern house to interior.

• Dalyston House, farmyard complex, 1790–1810 · Regional interest
  Description

  Two yards of outbuildings, built c.1800, comprising three-sided main courtyard to north, to rear of Dalyston House, and three-sided courtyard to south. Now largely ruinous. Multiple-bay two-storey outer walls of outbuildings surviving to main courtyard, roofless, with rubble limestone and sandstone walls having tooled limestone eaves course and moulded cornice, with square-headed window and door openings having tooled limestone block-and-start surrounds and some red brick surrounds exposed. Rubble limestone relieving arch over. Elliptical-arched vehicular entrance with dressed limestone surround showing marks of blade sharpening. Multiple-bay single-storey pitched corrugated-iron roof outbuildings surviving to north and north-west range of southern courtyard. Rendered openwork bellcote. Rubble limestone walls with some render. Square-headed window and door openings. Elliptical-arched carriage arch with red brick voussoirs. Wrought-iron double-leaf gate with dressed stone piers and rubble limestone boundary wall with curved copings. Round-arched carriage arch to southern boundary wall having rubble limestone voussoirs.

• Dalyston House, bridge, 1810–1830 · Regional interest
  Description

  Freestanding single-arch road bridge over tributary of Duniry River, erected c.1820. Ornate cast-iron parapet railings with repeating concentric circle motif, moulded limestone plinth terminating in square-profile tooled ashlar limestone piers with plinth and moulded cornices to capstones. Tooled limestone voussoirs to arch. Dressed limestone walls. Rubble limestone revetment walls to river banks. Double-leaf cast-iron gates to field entrance to west of site.

• Dalyston House, icehouse, 1790–1810 · Regional interest
  Description

  Freestanding circular-plan icehouse, built c.1800. Comprises corbelled rubble limestone roof, rubble limestone walls, partially grassed over, with redbrick skin to interior. Pointed arch entrance. Socketed rubble limestone stone to site. Domed ceiling internally, base filled with rubble, and structure overgrown.

• Dalyston House, mausoleum, 1820–1825 · Regional interest
  Description

  Freestanding limestone mausoleum, dated 1821. Comprising square-plan tooled limestone plinth with tooled plinth course and cornice having rectangular recessed panels with carved limestone plaque to east face. Tooled limestone trapezoidal coffin-like structure to top, with recessed panels and with acroters to top. Second mausoleum to north-east comprising box tomb having engaged colonettees to corners, atop stepped plinth, over burial chamber. Rubble limestone boundary walls terminating having limestone stile.
