Description
On a N-facing slope in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 41m) defined by a bank and external fosse, best preserved from S to W. A field wall cuts the monument at N and S. Description
In gently undulating grassland. Poorly preserved oval rath (N-S 35m) defined by a bank at S, and elsewhere by a scarp. An external fosse is visible from E through S to SSW. Description
On a rise in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 41.5m, E-W 34.5m) defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. The outer bank is disturbed by a field boundary at SW, and no visible surface trace of it survives from WtoNW. Description
In grassland. Subcircular rath (E-W 32.2m, N-S 30.5m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The fosse and outer bank survive from N to E. A field wall cuts the monument at N and S. Either of two gaps at W (Wth 6m) or E (Wth 7.2m) could be original. Local tradition of a CBG (GA031-031001-) within the interior. Description
Within ringfort (GA031-031----). According to local information, there was a CBG in S half of the rath; no visible surface trace survives. A still-born child was buried here 50 years ago, and there is no recollection of its use within the last 25 years.
