  Description

  On a small headland at S end of a sandy beach. Known locally as Horn graveyard, it consists of an irregularly shaped walled graveyard (E-W 80m, N-S 40m max.) within which many small set boulders are visible. A number of 20th-C graves are present in E half, marked by cement crosses and modern headstones decorated with sea shells. This CBG also extends on to OS 6-inch sheet 62 (SMR GA062-002----).   Description

  In sand-dunes on a small headland overlooking Inis Damhros to N. Within and around a CBG (GA049-023001-) are intermittent traces of midden material, including an exposed scarp (L 6m, T 0.35m). This contains a layer of burnt stones and shells, mainly periwinkle, cockle and limpet.
