  Description

  On a rise in grassland bounded by a large tract of bogland to E and S. Described by de Valera and Ó Nualláin (1972, 27) as 'Six large superimposed stones resting in an inclined position and forming no recognizable arrangement'. There are traces of a possible cairn, particularly on N side, but 'the nature of the site is uncertain and it may, in fact, be entirely natural' (ibid.) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
