  Description

  On a rise in undulating grassland overlooking poorly drained terrain to SW. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 43m, N-S 40m) defined by a degraded scarp. Within the interior is an earthen bank running E-W, probably an internal division, to S of which is a CBG (GA016-094001-).   Description

  Within a ringfort (GA016-094----). An irregularly shaped area (E-W 28.8m, N-S 14m) enclosed on W and N sides by a low grassed-over earthen bank and elsewhere by the ringfort bank. Within it, the main concentration of burials is in an unenclosed subrectangular section (E-W 14.2m, N-S 11m). Here, small set stones indicate graves oriented E-W. In use until c. 55 years ago. • GA016-095 Ritual site - holy well
  Description

  At the base of an esker ridge in grassland. A SE-NW running stream runs to W. According to local tradition, there was a holy well called Tobar na Glinn here. It has been covered up by a low irregular mound of limestone pebbles. A crudely carved sandstone cross fragment (L 0.79m, Wth 0.39m) occupies the top of the mound. A circular flat-topped grassed-over mound of stones (D c. 0.2m), locally believed to be a penitential station, lies c. 30m to SW. A ringfort (GA016-094----) and a CBG (GA016-094001-) lie a short distance to WSW.
