  Description

  On a N-facing slope in reclaimed grassland overlooking bogland. According to local information, there was an earthen 'fort' here which was levelled quite recently. A house now occupies the site and no visible surface trace survives. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
