  Description

  On the NE-facing slope of a ridge in pastureland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (40.8m E-W; 34.5m N-S) defined by a bank and fosse . The bank is visible from W through N to E; elsewhere a slight scarp forms the enclosing element. The fosse is evident except at S and is filled with field-clearance rubble and trees at N. • GA123-077 Enclosure - large enclosure
  Description

  On a prominent NE-SW running ridge. This large well-preserved circular enclosure (diam c. 97m) is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse best preserved at N. The outer bank is visible from NW through N to ESE. On the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map a trackway is shown running through the monument from ESE to WNW. A later field wall now runs on this aligment. Wide gaps at ESE (Wth 10.5m) and WNW 9.8m) may be original.   Description

  At S end of a ridge in grassland. Circular rath (diam. c. 34.5m), in fair condition, defined by a bank and external fosse. A gap (Wth 4.2m) at ENE may be original. A souterrain (GA123-078001-) is associated. Another rath lies c. 75m to the SW and there is a large enclosure (GA123-077----) c. 77m to the NE.
