• GA105-175 Fulacht fia
  Description

  In low-lying marshy ground c. 60m to the N of a stream. On inspection in October 1982 this fulacht fia consisted of two low mounds, c. 1m apart, composed of black earth and burnt stone. The N mound (4.7m E-W; 2.6m N-S; H 0.5m) was better preserved than the S one (3.5m E-W; 1.8m N-S; H 0.3m). Current OSi aerial photographic imagery indicates that a house now occupies this site.   Description

  In low-lying marshy land c. m to the N of a stream. On inspection in October 1982 this fulacht fia consisted of two low mounds, c. 2.6m apart, composed of black earth and burnt stone. The N mound (7.5m E-W) was more clearly defined than the S one (5m E-W). Current OSi aerial imagery suggests that the monument was levelled when the nearby house was constructed. • GA105-175002 Fulacht fia
  Description

  In low-lying marshy land to the N of a stream. On inspection in October 1982 this fulacht fia was defined by a horseshoe-shaped mound (12.7m N-S; H 0.6m) of burnt soil and stone opening to the S. It was heavily overgrown with gorse at E and W. The current OSi aerial imagery suggests it has since been levelled. • GA105-176 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On a rise in undulating pastureland. Known locally as the liss, this circular rath (diam. 40m) is defined by a very poorly preserved bank (Wth at top 2m; overall Wth 4.1m; int. H ).2m; ext. H 0.7m) that is overgrown with bushes and surrounded by field walls except from S to SE. A children’s burial ground (GA105-176001-) is associated.
