- GA097-143 Ringfort - rath
Description
On a gentle rise in grassland, formerly part of Saintclerans Demesne. Indicated on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an enclosed mixed tree plantation and on the 1933 edition as a subcircular line of deciduous trees (c. 60m N-S; c. 52m E-W). Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 171, no. 32a) as a circular ‘Stone fort’ (diam. c. 58m) which was defined by a 'flattened' bank of earth (Wth c. 3.6-4.2m; int. c. 1m; ext. H c. 0.6m). A large stone slab lying flat on its S side suggested to him hat it was a stone fort piled with earthen material. Some iron slag was found in the interior. No visible surface trace survives. Possibly a rath or a landscape feature. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 20 June 2019
- GA097-144 Ringfort - cashel

Field-clearance rubble has been piled against the enclosing element at E and W and hawthorn bushes are growing around its perimeter. (McCaffrey 1952, 171, no. 32; Waddell 1977, 62) Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 11 April 2018

Very poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 35.5m) defined by a drystone wall which is best preserved at N; elsewhere it survives as a grassed-over stony bank. A silage pit abuts the wall at E. - GA097-146003 Church
Description
Just off the avenue leading to St Cleran's House (GA097-146002-). On inspection only the N side-wall and the returns of the E (L 2.3m) and W (L 2.45m) walls (max. H 1m) survived of this very poorly preserved church (7.62m E-W; c. 6-7m N-S; wall T 0.6m). It was constructed of crude randomly coursed drystone limestone and the basal course was made up of massive blocks. Dressed quoinstone were visible but otherwise no architectural features survived. The interior was overgrown and rubble had been piled up over its S half. In 1959 following the discovery of human remains (GA097-146004-) to the E of it, Prof. Duignan noted that it was the 'last remnants of a small church whose masonry looks medieval' (pers. comm. M. Cahill and M. Sikora, NMI). A tower house (GA097-146001-) lies c. 155m to the WSW. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 2 April 2020
- GA097-146004 Graveyard
Description
In July 1959 human remains were discovered by workmen on the grounds of St. Cleran's house (GA097-146003-). The site was visited by Prof. Duignan, who reported it to the National Museum of Ireland. Possibly associated with the church (GA097-146003-), as Prof. Duignan noted that the burials were found to the E of the 'last remnants of a small church whose masonry looks medieval'. No further details were recorded as to the type of burials (pers. comm. M. Cahill and M. Sikora, NMI). Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 6 December 2010
