  Description

  On a hillock in undulating pastureland at the NE end of Tynagh village. Named 'Church' in Roman script on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map and shown as a roofed rectangular building. On the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) it is named 'Church (Remains of)' and only its outline (c. 17m E-W; c. 9m N-S) is depicted by a broken line.   Description

  On a hillock in undulating pastureland at the NE end of Tynagh village. This rectilinear graveyard (c. 60m NE-SW; c. 45m NW-SE) is enclosed by a mortared stone wall capped with concrete. Access is gained via a gateway and stile at SW. Inscribed grave-markers date from the mid-18th century and most of these examples are lying against the W wall. A number of small uninscribed grave-markers are also visible. A large wooden crucifix marks the site of an associated church (GA117-094001-). On inspection the graveyard was being expanded to the N and most of the N wall had been removed. This extension is accessed by a new entrance and pathway off the roadway to the W.   Description

  Detached three-bay single-storey vernacular house with attic, built c.1800, having flat-roof porch to front (north) elevation. Pitched thatched roof with low rendered chimneystack. Roughcast rendered walls to front and rear elevations, and smooth rendered to side elevations, with smooth rendered plinth course. Square-headed window openings with stone sills and replacement timber windows, those to west gable having render surrounds. Square-headed doorway with replacement timber door and sidelights. House fronts directly onto road.
