Description
On the 1st edition of the OS map a circular enclosure is marked here, on a fairly level tract of land less than 100m from the Glennahoo river. It was named 'Fort' on the Fair Plan. No visible trace survives. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 603.
