  Description

  Lisanudair/Lios an fhuadair, ringfort of the bustle. This large circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 and 1897 OS maps. It would appear to have been a multivallate rath. However, this site has been levelled and only slight undulations in the field indicate where it once stood. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 671. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
