  Description

  In pasture, on the W bank of a stream, on a S-facing slope overlooking the head of Kenmare bay. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2m E-W) defined by a collapsed, moss-covered, drystone wall N-S and by a straight W side (L 1.6m) formed by a field wall (H 1.2m). The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.8m) and the N portion is cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. The entrance is at SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). • KE084-065 Bridge
  Description

  Road bridge (Wth c. 8.5m; long axis E-W) spanning a S-flowing tributary of the Finnihy River. Built of random rubble sandstone. Single, low, three-centred arch (span c. 2.6m) with roughly shaped voussoirs. Central supporting pier (Wth 0.6m) extends full width of bridge and bisects arch.
