Description
This site is situated beside a well, but its shape has been completely distorted by the construction of steps leading down to the well and by a fieldbank running in a NW-SE direction. A small mound of burnt fire-shattered stones rises to a height of .15m and measures 3.28m NE-SW and 2.25m NW-SE. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Description
This site is situated in a large pasture. Originally there was a well near the site, but this has been completely covered. This site consists of an oval-shaped mound measuring 9.45m NE-SW, 13.75m NW-SE and rises to a height of .6m above the surrounding land. The above description is derived from C.
