  Description

  In pasture, on level ground, on the E side of a lane. A raised oval area (37m NE-SW; 30m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.1m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 2.1m) N-W. The rath is truncated by a lane at NW. The interior is poached by cattle. There is a hut site (KE057-035001-) in the N half and there are three boulders in the NE quadrant. A limekiln, which is covered in overgrowth, abuts the bank along the S arc, externally.   In pasture, on a SE-facing slope. This possible rath is not visible at ground level and high grass covers the area. It is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) with a rectangular building (on a NW-SE axis) abutting the NE arc, externally.   Description

  In pasture, on a SE-facing slope. A circular area (diam. c. 34m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.83m; int. H 1.7m; ext. H 2.15m). An external fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.5m) is evident SW-SE. The S portion of the interior is raised (H 1.4m) to compensate for the hillslope. The interior is obscured by dense overgrowth. The entrance (Wth c. 2.5m) is at SE.   Description

  In pasture, on a SE-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Laune River. A circular area (43m E-W; 42m N-S) defined by three earthen banks with intervening fosses and an outer fosse. The inner earthen bank (Wth 7.25m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.55m) and intervening fosse (Wth 4.5m) are visible all round. The middle earthen bank (Wth 10.9m; int. H 2.15m; ext. H 1.6m) is separated by a second intervening fosse (Wth 2.9m) from the outer earthen bank (Wth 7.3m; int. H 2.2m; ext. H 2.1m). The outer fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.3m) is visible SW-N. The interior slopes gently down to the SE. The rath is cut (D 2m) into the upslope at NW. There is a partially eroded causeway entrance (Wth 3.5m) at NNE. The entire rath is largely obscured by trees, bushes and dense undergrowth. A limekiln is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map abutting the enclosing elements at WSW.   Description

  In pasture, on a gentle SW-facing slope, c. 25m E of a stream. A spread (c. 30m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE) of burnt material is evident. According to local information, this area of the field was difficult to plough due to its stony soil. Natural springs rise to the W. A possible fulacht fia (KE057-116----) lies c. 150m to the SSE.   Description

  In pasture, on the W-facing slope of a valley, c. 10m E of a stream. An irregular mound (8m x 6m; H 0.3m) of burnt material. There is a burnt spread (KE057-115----) c. 150m to the NNW and a fulacht fia (KE057-117----) c. 150m to the N.   Description

  In pasture, at the edge of a field, just above the valley of a stream to the W. A horseshoe-shaped mound (7.5m N-S; c. 6.5m E-W; H 0.75m) with the opening facing W. According to local information, the disturbed area in the SE portion is a result of ploughing. The mound is eroded on the W side where burnt material (D 0.55m) is exposed in section.
