  Description

  A small circular enclosure is marked on the first edition of the OS map at this location. The area is heavily afforested and the enclosure could not be located. • KE090-003 Souterrain
  Description

  The opening to a souterrain (KE090-003----), .6m x .75m, is located on the NW face of the hillock. It leads into a drystone-built passage, aligned E-W, which is roofed with lintels. The W end of the passage appears to have collapsed. Local information records a second opening, now closed up, on the SE side of the hillock. • KE090-003001 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  A circular enclosure and 'Cave' are marked on the first edition of the OS maps at this location. No surface trace survives of the enclosure, which is marked ‘site of’ on the second edition. It was located in pasture on a flat-topped hillock, a short distance W of Derriana Lough. The opening to a souterrain (KE090-003----), .6m x .75m, is located on the NW face of the hillock. It leads into a drystone-built passage, aligned E-W, which is roofed with lintels. The W end of the passage appears to have collapsed. • KE090-004001 Enclosure
  Description

  Marked as a small enclosure on the first edition of the OS maps, this site is located in boggy pasture a short distance SW of Derriana Lough. It survives as an approximately circular field, as indicated on the second edition, with clear traces of the original enclosure visible beneath the boundary at S. Here upright slabs and stones, set on edge, revet the 1.4m thick wall externally. The wall survives to an average height of .5m. The area enclosed, which presumably reflects the original dimensions of the enclosure, measures 15m N-S x 14m E-W. The interior is traversed by a series of cultivation ridges (KE090-004----).   Description

  This squat standing stone is located in pastureland SW Of Derriana Lough, on a low hill overlooking the Cummeragh river. Not indicated on the OS maps, it stands .95m high and tapers in width from .9m at base to .6m at top. It measures .35m in basal thickness, and is orientated NE-SW on its longer axis.
