  Description

  Situated in the corner of a marshy field with a stream running immediately S and then turning N. A horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt stones and charcoal was discovered prior to ploughing. The mound has since been removed and a scattering of burnt stones is all that is now evident. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 38. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
