  Description

  There is no trace of the circular enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map and named 'Fort' on the Fair Plan. It was situated on a N facing slope about 150m from the Owenalondrig river. • KE054-026 Standing stone
  Description

  A standing stone situated on a gentle N facing slope at the E end of the Sea Hill to Bull's Head ridge, overlooking the Lispole valley.   Description

  The circular univallate enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map has been almost completely destroyed. The S half of the enclosing bank is still faintly discernible and measures c. 22m in diameter. The site is located in reclaimed pastureland on a N facing slope.   Description

  There is no visible trace of the circular univallate enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map. • KE054-029 Standing stone
  Description

  Located on level ground at the E end of the Sea Hill ridge, this stone has split vertically into 2 separate slabs. The greater portion remains standing and is 3.75m high and c. 2.6m x .7m at base; NE-SW. A large slab, 3m high, 2.2m wide and c. 0.15m thick, has become detached from the NW face and rests at a 45 degrees angle, supported by 2 low uprights, neither of which appears to be socketed in the ground. These latter stand .9m and 1.1m high. The stone appears to have been intact in the early 19th century (OSNB Minard, 31). The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
