  Description

  This circular enclosure is marked on the first edition and on the 1914-15 OS maps. Today, this site has been levelled and only a slight trace of it can be identified by a change in the colour of the vegetation. The above description is derived from C.   Description

  Lisnapeastia/Lios na Péiste (ringfort of the serpent). Marked on the 1841-42 and 1914-15 OS map as a circular enclosure, it was completely ploughed out in the 1980s and no surface trace survives.   Marked on the 1841-42 and 1914-15 OS maps as a circular enclosure, this site is situated SE of Lisnapeastia (KE001-029----). It also shows up quite clearly on the Geographical Survey of Ireland's aerial photographs (1974 Q80) but it was levelled in 1986 and no surface trace survives today.
