  Description

  Internal diameter 37m N-S, 36m E-W A univallate rath situated in low-lying land NW of Littor House. The enclosing earthen bank is well preserved, with exterior heights of between .5m- 1.8m. The internal height above the interior is c 1m high and the average width at the base is 6m. The interior is gently sloping SE. The above description is derived from C. • KE002-020 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Internal diameter 33m N-S, 31m E-W This circular univallate rath is situated on a rise with a good view of the surounding area. The enclosing earthen bank rises to a height of 1.7m externally, .9m internally and the average width of the bank at the base is c5m. Three gaps to the NE, SE and W, measuring 3m, 2m and 3m in width respectively, provide access to the interior. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’.
