  Description

  A small stream running in a NNE-SSW direction cuts the western sector of this site, thus revealing some burnt stones. It is roughly horseshoe-shaped, measuring 6.1m E-W and 4m N-S. The landowner J. Walsh informed us that several years ago he had ploughed it into its present shape. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.   Description

  Internal diameter c 20m N-S Situated in the middle of a large pastoral field, this site is now much levelled and has been cut to the W by a fieldbank running NE-SE and to the N by one running NW-SW. All that remains today is a low, wide semi-circular earthen bank that measures .7m externally and .4m above the interior. The above description is derived from C.   Description

  While this field was being ploughed and drained a mound of burnt stones was removed, according to the landowner Mr Walsh. Only isolated burnt stones can be seen today.
