  Description

  This circular enclosure lies NE of KE015-045---- and appears on the 1841-42 and 1916 OS maps. However, on the later edition a bohareen runs through it on the N and E side. This site is now levelled and only a tiny section of the N bank, incorporated into a fieldbank, survives. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.   Description

  This circular enclosure appears on the 1841-42 and 1916 OS maps. No surface trace survives today and a house now occupies the site. The above description is derived from C. • KE015-045 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Internal diameter 32.7m NW-SE This circular univallate rath is situated in a corner of a very marshy field. It consists of a circular area enclosed by a bank and exterior fosse. The enclosing earthen bank is c 4m wide at the base and rises to .6m high externally and .4m internally. The external fosse encloses the whole site, except to the SE and NW, and is 2.6m wide and .4m deep. The entrance possibly lies to the E. It was perhaps stone lined, as numerous stones are visible. This site since it was visited in 1990 for a preliminary inspection has been completely ploughed out. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
