  Description

  This site is situated on rising ground and has a commanding view of the surrounding land. All that remains of this once univallate rath is a semi-circular earthen bank that curves for c 22m before being cut by a townland boundary fieldbank. The bank has an external height of .4m, an internal height of .4m and the width of the bank at the base measures c 5m. The above description is derived from Toal C. (compiler) ‘The North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority. (1995) no. 102.
