  Description

  According to the OSL (Herity 2005, 25), 'The churchyard … has, as a burial ground, fallen into disuse. It was called Reilicin.', and Fitzgerald (1912-14, 125) states that interments occurred here until about 1832. Near the NE foot of a formerly wooded hillside (as shown on the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map) now under pasture. A slightly raised, rectangular area (dims. L c. 25m E-W; Wth c. 15m) is defined by a low scarp (H 0.6m). No burial markers are visible, but the name 'Reilicin' suggests a children's burial ground (KD009-011003-).   Describing a graveyard (KD009-011002-) associated with a church (KD009-011001-), the OSL (Herity 2005, 25) recorded that, 'It was called Reilicin.', a name which suggests a possible children's burial ground, but no burial markers are visible.   Description

  In a gravel pit near the foot of a steep, N-facing pasture slope, which was formerly wooded (as shown on the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map) and c. 100m ESE of a church (KD009-011001-), graveyard (KD009-011002-) and possible children's burial ground (KD009-011003-). A furnace bottom was discovered in collapsed gravel at the E-foot of the pit-face and, according to the landowner, many pieces of iron-slag were encountered during ploughing in the field immediately to the N. A row of stones three courses high, possibly part of a wall, was noted in the quarry face nearby, but is of uncertain significance, and not conclusively linked to this site.   Description

  On a pasture spur which projects W and overlooks lower pasture SW-NE. Shown on the 1st.ed (1838) of the OS 6-inch map as a very substantial, apparently steep-sided, circular earthwork (est. max. ext. diam. c. 130m; est. upper surface diam. c. 50m). The site was recorded by Fitzgerald (1912-4, 125) as 'now … being demolished by road-contractors for the sake of its gravel (and) named by the peasantry "Dun mBrochaill"'.   Description

  On wet ground at the W foot of a pasture spur, from which gravel was being extracted in 1993 (SMR file). Not indicated on the 1st.ed.(1838) of the OS 6-inch map. A poorly preserved, un-roofed, partially collapsed, roughly triangular, stone-lined spring (dims. L 1.2m; Wth 1.1m; D 1.2m) is known locally as 'St Peter's Well', but was apparently used as a domestic well and is not associated with any cures.   Description

  Group of ten terraced three-bay two-storey rubble stone former estate worker's houses, c.1850, some retaining original fenestration. Some houses refenestrated, c.1980-c.1990. Hipped roof (shared) with slate. Clay ridge tiles. Red brick chimney stacks. Cast-iron rainwater goods on eaves course. Random rubble stone walls (one retaining traces of render over). Square-headed window openings. Stone sills. Red brick block-and-start surrounds. Original 6/6 timber sash windows to ground floor with 3/6 timber sash windows to first floor. Some replacement timber casement windows, c.1980-c.1990. Square-headed door openings. Replacement timber panelled and glazed timber panelled doors, c.1980-c.1990. Road fronted with house to south following turn of corner.
