  Description

  Situated in slightly undulating countryside with excellent views to the E. A subrectangular enclosure (dims. c. 61m N-S; c. 52m E-W) on high ground in undulating terrain, defined by a low bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H c. 0.5m, ext. H c.0.7m) from W-E and possible remains of fosse at N. No other visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
