  Marked as a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c, 40m NW-SE) on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Remains of an earthen bank (Wth c. 2.4m; int. H c. 0.8m, ext. H c. 1.3m) survive from NW-NE. No other visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
