  Description

  A circular enclosure visible on aerial photograph (BKS, 601465). A slight rise in the ground indicates the site. No other visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.   Description

  Detached three-bay two-storey late-Georgian house, c. 1810, incorporating fabric of earlier house to rear with wings. Renovated, c. 1920, with projecting glazed porch added. Now in use as nursing home.
