  Description

  Marked on the 1841 and 1906 editions of the OS 6-inch maps; a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c. 60m N-S). Situated on a low ridge. No visible surface remains. According to local information the enclosure is visible as a cropmark in the spring time. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.   Description

  Marked on the 1908 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c. 50m NE-SW) which has been quarried into at S. Remains of an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m, int. H c. 0.5m, ext. H c. 1.1m) survive from W-E. No other visible surface remains.
