  Located in an undulating landscape. Indicated as a small enclosure only on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Two house sites defined by grass covered stone footings are placed 1.5m apart. Both the N house (ext. dims 9m NW-SE; 4.1m NE-SW) and the S house (LE001-001001-) have entrances on each long wall. Just 6m to W and 13m to NW are the foundations of two other houses (LE001-001002-; LE001-001003-).   Description

  At the bottom of a gentle S-facing slope with a small stream c. 30m to the W. An oval cairn (dims 9m NW-SE; 5.5m NE-SW; H 1m) has a small rectangular drystone well (dims 0.4m x 0.3m; D 0.25m) on the W side, which is still venerated. and a modern shrine. • LE001-061 Ritual site - holy well
  Description

  Indicated as a well on the 1835 and 1907 eds of the OS 6-inch map but described as 'Shavers Well' in italic lettering on the latter. Situated c. 50m S of the foreshore of Donegal Bay. A rectangular drystone built well (dims 0.35m x 0.35m; D 0.75m) is covered by a limestone slab and open to the N where it connects with a stream. It is built into the N side of a cairn (diam. 8m; H 1.25m) and there is a modern shrine adjacent.
