- LE011-143 Hut site
Description
Situated on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland river valley with higher ground to the N. A well preserved sub-circular hut site (int. diam. 3.9m) defined by a low grass covered footings of a drystone wall (T 0.75m; H 0.4m) is visible from S through E to NNE. Elsewhere there is no enclosing element. The lack of an enclosing element on the upslope of the hill indicates that the builders used the drystone wall to create a level platform that has been raised on the downslope and held in place by the stone revetment. The walling on the downslope consists of a double row of boulders and is built in a similar fashion to some of the pre-bog field walls on the mountain. No clear entrance feature is visible. The hut site (LE011-141----) is c. 40m to the E. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 12 September, 2009

Description
Located on the irregularly steep N-facing slope of Leean. A relict field wall (approx. L 90m), sometimes grass covered, extends NNW-SSE up Leean Mountain from a narrow valley, interrupted by a cliff face and boulders. (T. Kytmannow 2007) Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 5 July, 2017
- LE011-167 Field boundary
Description
Short stretch of a pre-bog field wall (Wth 1.4m; L 2m) built with a double row of gneiss boulders emerging from the bog just above a stream in an upland area. Possible remains of a a second field wall (LE011-168) the upright stone of which is all that survives above ground located 14m to the S. The two field walls appears to intersect at the point where the stream cuts across the face of the bog. The two field walls may suggest the remains of a pre-bog field system underneath the uncut bog. (Kytmannow 2007)
- LE011-168 Field boundary
Description
Only 14m N of a pre-bog field wall (LE011-167) in an area ofcut-away bog stands an upright stone (H 0.85m) which appears to bepart of a pre-bog field wall the foundations of which are still visible.Several large boulders forming a row either side of the upright stone appear to tbe the remains of a pre-bog field wall. This field wall appears to intersect with a second pre-bog field wall (LE011-167) located 14m to the S.The two field walls togther may suggest the remains of a pre-bog field system underneath the uncut bog.
