  Description

  Marked only on the 1907 ed. of the OS 6-inch map., it is situated on the S bank of a W-E stream and immediately S of a farmhouse, now removed, It is also in an E-W fold on the S side of Glenfarne valley. No feature is visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).   Description

  Marked only on the 1907 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is situated on the W bank of a S-N stream and c. 20m SE of an abandoned farmhouse that is at the bottom of a N-facing slope in Glenfarne valley. No feature is visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). • LE013-013 Sweathouse
  Description

  Reported (4-10-2021) by Mr Aidan Harte, Project Co-ordinator, Leitrim Sweathouse Project, but not yet inspected. Depicted and named ‘Sweat Ho.’ on the first edition (1835) of the OS 6-inch map, where it is shown c. 5m to the S of a small, E-flowing stream, and across the stream from several dwelling houses and outbuildings. Not recorded on the later Cassini edition. This is one of three sweathouses in Meenkeeragh townland, along with LE013-011---- which lies c. 175m to the ENE and LE013-012---- c. 400m to the ESE.
