  Description

  On a platform of a NE-facing slope at the NE foot of Tievebaun Mountain, and c. 20m N of a wedge tomb (LE003-006---). This is a rectangular cairn (dims 37m NW-SE; 20m NE-SW; H 1.25m) and contains a single orthostatic chamber (dims 6m x 2.5m) in the centre while two uprights (max. H 1m) 6m to the E may flank an entrance to a full court identifiable only by a single slab at S. • LE003-006 Megalithic tomb - wedge tomb
  Description

  Buried in turf on a flat platform at a NE foot of Tievebaun Mountain. A chamber (L 2.5m; Wth 1.15m) is separated from a W-facing portico (L 1.75m) by jamb stones and there are large slabs flanking the entrance. There is slight evidence of a cairn at SW. The court tomb (LE003-005---) is situated c. 20m to the N. • LE003-007001 Ringfort - cashel
  Description

  Situated on a knoll towards the bottom of a steep E-facing slope at the NE foothills of Tievebaun Mountain, with a small W-E stream c. 10m to the N and a small S-N stream c. 20m to the E. This is a circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 24m E-W; c. 23m N-S) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3m; H 0.3m-0.5m) SW-NW, a stoney scarp (H 1-1.4m) NW-NE and the perimeter is incorporated into a stone road bank NE-S. The perimeter is covered in scrub and holly trees, but it cannot be traced S-SW. There is no identifiable original entrance, and the mass-rock (LE003-00702-) abuts the outside of the perimeter at NW.   Description

  Situated towards the bottom of a steep E-facing slope at the NE foothills of Tievebaun Mountain and abutting the outside of the perimeter of cashel (LE003-007001-) at NW. A drystone-built bench (L 6m; Wth 1-1.6m; H 0.4-0.6m), which may be part of the cashel wall, is known locally as a mass-rock. • LE003-013 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Depicted as a small circular feature and described as a ‘Fort’ on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated in a low-lying position in Glenade valley with a small SW-NE stream just to the E. Overgrown D-shaped area (dims 6-10m N-S; 15-20m E-W) defined by straight field banks (Wth 1.2m; H 0.6m) and an outer ditch (Wth 2.5m; D 0.2m) at N, S and W, with a curved scarp (H 0.7m) and stream (Wth 3m) at E.
