  In pasture, on slight S-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1924 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.   In pasture, on slight S-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. • LI036-090 Barrow - ring-barrow
  Description

  In pasture, on a S-facing slope. A circular earthen mound (H 0.7m; 7.6m N-S; 8.2m E-W) surrounded by a level berm (Wth. 4.35m), with an external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 3.2m). A field drain runs radially out from the base of the mound at E and another field drain crosses the line of the fosse at NW. There is no evident trace of the fosse E->NW. An ESB pole stands at the base of the mound at NNW. A large tank sits in the fosse at NNW. The entire site is under rough pasture. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011

  Description

  Detached four-bay single-storey thatched farmhouse, built c. 1780, with later windbreak porch to front (south) and lean-to extension to side (east). Hipped thatch roof with red brick chimneystack and gabble to side (east). Roughcast rendered walls with rendered plinth band. Square-headed window openings with render sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening within windbreak having timber panelled door. Rubble stone outbuildings with pitched corrugated-iron roof and square-headed door openings with corrugated door. Located within own grounds having rendered boundary wall with square-profile gate piers flanking wrought-iron gates to front of site.
