  Description

  In level marshy pasture. Circular area (30.5m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.65m), best preserved NNW->NE. Field drains skirt around external base of bank NE->SSW.   Description

  In pasture, on very gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.4m), with external fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.35m) WNW->SW. A dwelling house was recently built immediately to SW with its garden bordering external base of bank SW->WNW. Bank, heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth, is best preserved along S arc where bank widens along top (Wth 2m). Dip in bank (Wth 4.5m) at NNE. Interior covered with dense vegetation overgrowth and some fallen trees have caused root damage to surface. Field boundary, depicted abutting enclosure at WNW on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been removed.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, near base of hill. Circular area (diam. c. 50m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 2.2m) with external fosse (D 1.6m; Wth 2.2m); both heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth. Bank is best preserved ESE->NW, and incorporated into field boundary ESE->S. Fosse is marshy and widest (Wth 5.6m) ESE->S; counterscarp earth-and-stone bank (ext. H 0.55m) runs along outer edge NW->ESE. Small paddock adjoins at NW.   Description

  In rough undulating pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope. Oval area (22.8m N-S; 25.6m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 1.85m; ext. H 2.85m), with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 2m) NW->SSE. Bank, best preserved N->SW, incorporated into field boundary system SSE->SW. Fosse, best preserved NW->NE, but barely perceptible NE->E. Break in bank (Wth 6.3m) at WNW. Top of bank widens (Wth 2.6m) along E side with internal stone revetment (H 0.45m) at ENE. Uneven interior, under rough pasture, is littered with loose stones.
