  Description

  In reclaimed pasture, immediately E of watercourse that forms townland boundary with Ballinanima (Massy) and SE of stream that forms townland boundary with Teermore. An enclosure (LI048-113----) lies 70m to the E. Not marked on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. c. 21m) defined by a scarp , fosse and external bank from NW-N-E-S-SW with gaps at NE and SE, truncated at W by a drain running N-S. Outline of monument visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. A possible external fosse is visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/03/2018.   Description

  Situated on reclaimed grassland immediately S of a stream marking townland boundary with Teermore. Enclosure (LI048-031----) 70m to W. Outline of roughly circular shaped area (approx. int. diam. 28m; ext. diam. 40m) defined by a shallow ditch visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13. Google Earth aerial orthophoto taken 04/04/2013 shows clearly curving ditch forming W side of enclosure with drainage ditch running S from S side of earthwork. This enclosure may be related to post-1700 land reclamation carried out in the field or may be an earlier enclosure modified by the land reclamation earthworks.   Description

  Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1840, comprising recent uPVC porch to front (east) elevation, two-bay single-storey extension to rear (west) and single-storey lean-to to north elevation. Hipped artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls, render quoins and plinth course. Square-headed openings having render surrounds, limestone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed opening with glazed overlight over replacement half-glazed timber panelled door. Pair of dressed sandstone piers to south with single-leaf metal gate. Three-bay single-storey outbuilding to south-west having pitched slate roof. Random rubble sandstone walls. Square -headed openings with timber battened doors. Rubble sandstone boundary walls to site.
