  Description

  In level pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked oval enclosure on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been partially levelled and incorporated into pasture field. Enclosure now evident as oval area (36m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.55m; Wth 6.8m), with an external fosse (D 0.1m; Wth 2m) SW->WSW. Field boundary runs along top of scarped edge NW->NE; boundary running S from SE edge of enclosure has been removed. Farm trackway skirts E side of site.   Description

  In level pasture, on S side of stream. Semi-circular waterlogged area (L c. 5m) used to water cattle. In mid-1950s 'rounds still made, but not often' (Ó Danachair 1955, 205). Visited on 1st Feb. and reputed to have cure blindness (ibid.). Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011

  Description

  In level pasture. Circular area (diam. 21m) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.6m) and external fosse (D 0.8m; Wth 3.4m). Internal bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.65m) reduced to scarped edge (H 0.65m; Wth 1.2m) NNW->SSW. External bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 2.6m) extant NNW->WNW.
