  Description

  Monument described by O'Kelly (1942-3, 233) as following; 'This seems to have been a platform structure. It was nearly square with the corners rounded of. Around it was a fosse. The monument has been partially levelled. It is shown on the early edition of the O.S. but not on the last. The overall dimension is 110' [33.5m]. The platform is now only about 2' [0.6m] high. The large field in which the monument is situate is intersected by ancient fences and in one case by what may be a sunken road-way. The structure is to the north of, and within sight of Caherguillamore House, [LI031-041019-] and may be an outlying part of the complex—village [LI031-041001-], lies to the east and south of that dwelling'.   Description

  On flat pasture 240m S of the townland boundary with Glenogra. Moated site (LI031-042----) 360m to ESE and enclosure (LI031-202---) 60m to SSW. The site is not depicted on OSi historic maps. The ring-barrow is faintly visible on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 65: AP 4/3598) as a ring-barrow (ext. dims. c. 6m). The ring barrow is not identifiable on Google Earth orthoimages including the most recent taken 25/03/2017 and 28/06/2018.   Description

  On flat pasture 290m S of the townland boundary with Glenogra. Moated site (LI031-042----) 360m to E and ring-barrow (LI031-201---) 60m to NNE. The site is not depicted on OSi historic maps. The enclosure site is visible as uneven ground on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and is not visible on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 66: AP 4/3598) as two sides of a sub-rectangular enclosure (ext. dims. c. 35m E-W; 65m N-S). The north boundary of the enclosure is visible on the earliest Google Earth orthoimages taken 05/04/2006, however it is no longer visible on the most recent image taken 28/06/2018.
