H 1.5m) with external fosse (D 0.7m; Wth 1.4m) with berm (Wth c. 1.8m) between bank and fosse.   In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (41.1m SE-NW; 38.4m NE-SW) defined by scarped edge (H 2.1m; Wth 2.85m), with external fosse (D 2.3m; Wth 4m) except on SE side. Gap in bank at ESE (Wth 2.1m). Level interior partially covered in overgrowth. Concentric with top edge of scarp, and c. 2m inside it, is arc of low stones, most prominent W->NW. H 1.15m) and external bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.35m) partially levelled S->WSW. Break in bank (Wth c. 3.5m) at SSE. Interior surface slopes down gently to S and is under pasture; In NE quadrant is slightly raised roughly D-shaped area (with indistinct edges) and in SE quadrant is large irregular rock outcrop. Causeway entrance at S (Wth 3.6m). Interior, under pasture, dips down gently towards centre. Dumps of topsoil and field-clearance stones, covered in overgrowth, obscure perimeter of site E->SE.   Description

  On S side of stream. Spring enclosed by surround surmounted by a statue of St Patrick, both of recent origin. Still venerated, with a variety of devotionalia hung about the surround as well as coins dropped into the water.   Description

  Discovered in 1999 during compilation of an Environmental Impact Statement in advance of proposed quarry development (Gregory 2000). Lying adjacent to field boundary is oval granite boulder (2.3m x 1.4m x 0.85m) with flat upper surface in which is cut a U-shaped oval hollow (D 0.21m; opening: 0.48m x 0.4m).
