  Description

  In pasture, on N-facing slope. Roughly circular area (31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.2m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 2.1m). Entire N half of enclosure is masked by dense overgrowth. Causeway entrance (Wth 2.1m) at ENE. Interior slopes down towards entrance.   Description

  Atop low limestone ridge, in area covered with bushes and trees; named a 'fox covert' on OS 6-inch map. No visible surface trace of castle evident. Two moss-covered heaps of stone visible below top of ridge on ENE-facing slope; probable clearance cairns with larger (1.5m N-S; 1.6m E-W; H 0.4m) c. 0.5m to N of smaller (1m NE-SW; 0.65m NW-SE; H 0.35m).   In scrub-covered area, on E-facing slope below brow of limestone hillock. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.95m).   In rough pasture, on NE-facing slope below brow of hillock. Monument, depicted as roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) truncated SE->W by field boundary on 1923 OS 6-inch map, is now covered by dense overgrowth.   Description

  In pasture, on WNW-facing slope into valley. Circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by two concentric earth-and-stone banks with intervening fosse (Wth 0.95m). Inner bank (int. H 0.65; ext. H 1.7m) is best preserved along S arc. Outer bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.45m) is littered with loose stone, and clipped by tangential field boundary at S. Fosse is heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth. Interior, only accessible along verges due to dense overgrowth, slopes down gently to E.   Description

  In pasture, on NNE-facing slope below brow of low hill, in area of outcropping limestone. Oval area (26.4m N-S; 23.4m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earth-and-stone banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.8m) E->NNW, but enclosing element is levelled NNW->E and outer bank further removed E->S. Inner bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.3m) is masked by dense overgrowth. Outer bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 0.4m) appears to merges with inner bank at S. Fosse, best preserved along SW arc, is accentuated by band of nettles where outer bank removed E->S. Level interior, under rough pasture, has exposed limestone bedrock at N verge.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure, has been partially levelled. It is now evident as circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by earthen bank S->ENE (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.2m), best preserved N->NE. Shallow linear depression (D 0.3m; Wth 1.1m; L 18.5m), on rough N-S axis, extends from external base of bank towards field boundary to N. Interior, under pasture, slopes down gently to W.
