Description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 1.45m), with an external fosse (D 0.15m; Wth 1.4m) ENE->SE. Bank and fosse are very denuded by cattle WSW->WNW. Field boundary crosses fosse at E. Level interior has been raised on E side to compensate for slope of terrain. Description
In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.3m; Wth 1.6m) with an external fosse (D 0.1m; Wth 1.8m). Scarp best preserved and highest SW->NW. In pasture, on slight W-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
