Description
In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 2.3m) with external waterlogged fosse (Wth 4m); running outside fosse and concentric with it is earthen field boundary (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.5m). Gap through both bank and field boundary at E (Wth 1.7m) and gap across inner bank at NNW (Wth 3.2m). Interior, in rough grazing, slopes down gently to N.
