  Description

  In pasture, on break in E-facing slope. Roughly square area slightly raised (31.1m N-S; 30m E-W) with rounded corners, enclosed by earthen bank with trace of external fosse (Base Wth 2m; D 0.35) SSW->SW. Though densely covered with overgrowth, the bank is evident all round but best preserved on N side (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.9m). Break (Wth 1.4m) in bank at WNW. Field boundaries link to bank at N, NE and SSE. Corrugated iron shed built against external bank face at ESE; farm trackway skirts external base of bank at S. Interior under pasture; E half slopes gently down to E. Upright stone (H 0.5m; Wth 0.27m; T 0.21m; Long axis E-W), narrowing slightly towards top, in S half of interior.   In pasture, on break in SE-facing slope down to stream valley. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m), has been levelled.   Description

  In pasture, at break in E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (30m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank ESE->ENE and by field boundary incorporating bank ENE->ESE, with external fosse (D 0.65m; Wth 2m) SSE->NE. Bank is covered with dense overgrowth but clearest SW->N (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.1m). Eroded break in bank at NE. Interior, particularly S half, is covered with briars and nettles, slopes down to E.   Description

  On gently rise, in grounds of Newcastle West golf course. Roughly circular area (26.3m N-S; 27.8m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 1.65m) SW->E and defined by scarped edge (H 1.05m; Wth 4m) E->SW. Gap (Wth 3.15m) at W flanked by concrete piers. Single similar pier at E between junction of bank and scarp. Interior, under pasture, slopes down geltly to S. Just S-of-centre is concrete trough (6.6m N-S; 10.9m E-W), now filled with earth and stone.   Description

  In pasture, on a SE-facing slope. A limestone upright (H 1.35m; Wth 0.35m; T 0.27m), leaning slightly to the SE, with its long axis aligned NE-SW. It is rectangular is profile and section, though it tapers slightly with height (at the top: Wth 0.35m; T 0.18m). Its edges have been rubbed smooth by cattle.
