  Description

  In pasture, on a NW-facing slope with views to SE-NE. Circular area (19m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by scarped edge (Wth 6.7m; H 1.2m) with barely perceptible external fosse (Wth 10.2m; D 0.05m) and possible outer bank (Wth 6.8m; int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.35m) NW-SE and WSW-W. Outer bank possibly levelled into fosse around E-arc. Monument raised slightly on NW-side to compensate for hill-slope. Field boundary depicted on current edition OS 6-inch map truncating SE-sector of monument has been removed. Monument has been incorporated into pasture field. • LI024-017 Enclosure
  Description

  In pasture, on a broad ridge. Oval area (18m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by scarped edge (Wth 1.2-1.45m; H 0.2-0.3m) with external fosse (Wth 3.65m; D 0.05m) evident W-NW, NNW-N and SSE.   In rough, poorly drained pasture, with forestry and townland boundary with Nicker 30m to NE. Enclosure (LI024-117002-) lies 42m to SW. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument identified as a circular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 131). • LI024-298 Enclosure
  Description

  On a NE-facing slope, in improved pasture, 110m to W of a stream which also marks a townland boundary with Nicker. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. A ring-barrow (LI024-127----) lies 190m to NE. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as an oval-shaped area (21m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (Wth 4.0m; H 0.6m) which is best preserved from SW-W-N-ENE. Monument is raised on the N side to compensate for hillslope. An ESB pole is situated within the N quadrant and a modern pump house and a second ESB pole are 10m to W. Monument is visible as an oval-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
